Snickerdoodle Cookies
Sugar cookies + cinnamon sugar coating = snickerdoodles! Yum!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar
- Beat in rest of liquids
- In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients except for 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Slowly add dry ingredient mixture to butter/sugar mixture
- Preheat over to 350 F
- Roll a rounded tablespoon of dough into a ball by hand
- Place 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon in a bowl and roll each rounded ball of dough until completely coated
- Place balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper 3 inches apart
- Bake until edges of cookies are lightly brown at 350 F, about 10 minutes
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from baking sheet
